Best upgrade!

Nice upgrade for the R5. Makes the shot a little softer.

I’m very happy with the Method R5 Tune-Up Kit. The most notable changes on the parts in the kit are the star shaped face on the front of the propshaft and the new propshaft spring which is much larger and stiffer than the stock one. It also wraps around the outside of the plunger rather than going on the bottom inside. The increased spring tension is noticeable when you first reassemble the drive train with the tune up kit.

I don’t quite understand the physics behind these changes, but the results were immediately noticeable. Upon initially testing the kit out I saw a substantial increase in FPS, allowing me to drop the operating pressure by quite a bit. It also seemed to improve overall consistency as well. This tune kit even functions well with the brass sfr at its most restricted flow setting.

Overall I am very pleased with the tune up kit and will continue to use it going forward. I’d recommend it to anyone looking to get a bit more performance out of their R5.

Very quiet, love the porting. Can’t go wrong with this barrel tip.

Ordered, arrived quickly. Quality seems really good on these. I imagine a 3 pack will last the lifetime of the marker assuming normal usage, and not tournaments every weekend for the next 10 years with the same bolt.

This kit is seriously a hidden gem. The spring that controls the plunger is 3 times larger. I haven’t had a single issue with it since installing it and it shoots absolute lasers. I shot out an entire team with it the first day I installed it. Thank you method for helping me sharpen my blade.

Well the bolt is great but for some reason I'm getting bolt stick with it. When firing bolt is sticking in the blow back position.Doesn'tdo it with the pressure testeron though ..

Good quality machining, fits and seals with no issue, marker runs like a dream. Can't ask for anything more than that, great product!
