Description

Introducing Methods first Shocker offering! We listened to everyone ask for the IDOL kit to fit into the Shocker Era. Now is the time! This completely new redesigned system comes with a new Bolt Tip, Bolt Guide, Bolt Can, Valve Stem, Valve Switch, and Valve Spring.

Note: Method will be the only ones offering an All-Gold engine kit.

Features Include:

  • Bolt Tip Changed to Luxe's proven Soft Tip which reduces restrictions within bolt
  • Reduced number of components by combining the Rear Can and Bolt Guide, aiding in simpler maintenance
  • Bolt Guide and Bolt has been redesigned to implement a gentler acceleration and air cushioned deacceleration. Which lends itself to softer paint handling and less felt mechanical feedback.
  • Engine has been retimed
  • Main Valve Seal has been moved from the Valve Stem into the Bolt Guide. This allows for a larger, more reliable, static valve seal to be used. Which improved reliability and air flow.
  • Comes with two options for Valve Springs. Gold for those wanting greater efficiency, and Silver for those wanting a softer shot.

Installation:

  • Unscrew the Stock Shocker Bolt from the Rear Can (Tail cover)
  • Remove the Stock Valve Switch and Valve Spring from the Rear Can (Tail cover)
  • Lightly Grease and install the new Valve Switch into the Rear Can (Tail cover) with cavity facing you.
  • Install the Valve Spring onto the Valve Stem. The spring will slightly force fit onto the spring guide within the Valve Stem. This retains the spring into the Valve Stem to prevent falling off during maintenance.
  • Ensure the entire engine is lubricated well and install into the Rear Can (Tail Cover)

Maintenance:
